On the evening on our arrival in Guilin, we took a cruise in the Two Rivers & Four Lakes Scenic Area. Everything is illuminated at night – trees, boats, pavilions and bridges. There are replicas of world-famous bridges like the Golden Gate Bridge; we even saw totem poles! We also saw a demonstration of traditional cormorant fishing and live performances by dancers and acrobats in some of the pavilions.
