In anticipation of huge crowds due to the national holiday, our day started early with a visit to Old Shanghai Town. The Yu (YuYuan) Garden dates back to the Ming Dynasty and covers around 5 acres. This classic Chinese garden also features a rockery, pavilions, statues, ponds and cloisters.
